He was born in Qalyubia, he obtained a BA of Arts from Benha University and a masters of Civilization and History with honors from Zagazig University. Yasser worked as a reporter for the "Cairo Today" program, presented by Amr Adib. He is known for When the Going Gets Tough (2001).
