American novelist, born on August 17, 1974 in New York City. She graduated from the Chapin School and then New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where she met Emma McLaughlin, and together they wrote the novel The Nanny Diaries. She got married to David Wheir in 2008. She is known for The Nanny Diaries (2007).
