An Iranian actress, born in 1970 in the holy city of Mashhad. She obtained a degree from the American University of San Francisco in western philosophy. She began her acting career in 2000 through her role in the film The Shining Shadow, after which she appeared in a play, and translated the books The Home of a Native American, and The White Man's Law. She won two Crystal Simorgh Awards at the Fajr Film Festival for her roles in the movies As Simple as That, and Days of Life.
