Jeremy Renner is an American actor, singer-songwriter, musician, producer and former makeup artist. He was born in northern California (Modesto) on January 7, 1971. Renner made his film debut in the cult comedy "National Lampoon's Senior Trip" in 1995. The gig set him up for a...Read more string of television jobs. He worked largely in indie films throughout the 2000s, though he also got supporting roles in "S.W.A.T." (2003) and "28 Weeks Later" (2007). Renner earned an Oscar nomination for Best Actor for "The Hurt Locker" (2008). He turned in a powerful performance in Ben Affleck's "The Town" (2010), which earned him not only high critical praise, but his second Oscar nomination, but Golden Globe and SAG nominations as well. After this point, Renner got top billing in high-adrenaline action flicks like "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" (2011), "Marvel's The Avengers" (2012), "The Bourne Legacy" (2012) and "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" (2013). In March 2013, Renner announced he was expecting a baby with former fling Sonni Pacheco, a Canadian lingerie model.
