Her feature film debut was in My First Mister (2001). Sackhoff's most notable role is as Kara "Starbuck" Thrace in the miniseries and follow-up TV series Battlestar Galactica, for which she won a Saturn Award in 2006 for Best Actress on Television. In 2013, Sakhoff appeared in three films: the dark comedy “Sexy Evil Genius,” the psychological horror “The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia” and as Dahl in the British-American sci-fi film “Riddick.” In 2014, she played the role of the mother in the horror film “Oculus.”
