A Scottish actor, born in Renfrewshire, Scotland on May 8, 1984. During his teenage years, Martin used to regularly go to football games of Celtic and dreamed of playing for them one day. He attended St. Columba's High School but later left school after his fifth year to pursue his dream of being a professional football player for Celtic. His acting career began when director Ken Loach saw him at an audition at his high school and gave him the lead role in the movie Sweet Sixteen. He is known for Barney Thomson, Hunter’s Prayer, and Line of Duty.
