An American actor and producer, born as William Louis Petersen in Evanston, Illinois, USA. He attended Bishop Kelly High School in Boise, Idaho, after which he attended Idaho State University on a football scholarship and pursued acting. His works include CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000-2015), Manhunter (1986) and To Live and Die in L.A. (1985).
