American director, actor, and stunt performer, born in Tennessee, United States of America. His works include Megaforce, Stroker Ace, and Cannonball Run II. Among his works as a stunt performer is the movie, Smokey and the Bandit. He died on October 25, 2013, in Los Angeles at the age of 82, after a short battle with cancer.
