American actor and musician, born in Los Angeles, California, USA. He studied piano with Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco. He also attended classes on film composition with lecturer and director Miklós Rózsa at the University of Southern California. He is known for Star Trek: First Contact (1996) and Congo (1995).
