He is an Egyptian director who was born on 3 September 1983 and graduated from the High Cinema Institute in 2006. He wrote and directed several short films, including Knocking on Doors (2012). He received a scholarship to study documentary film at George Washington University in the USA. In 2012, he founded Rahala Production and Distribution Company. He's known for Fathy Doesn't Live Here Anymore (2016), and Where Did Ramses Go? (2019).
