She was an Egyptian singer and actress, born in Cairo in 1935. She was famous for her performance of religious poems in praise of the Prophet, Muhammad, and she collaborated was great composers such as Mohamed El Mougy and Riad El Sonbati. She was honored at the Arab Music Festival in the Egyptian Opera. She is known for Prisoner 67 (1992), and His Majesty Love (1983). She passed away on June 18, 2006, at age 61.
