An American songwriter, performer, and musical artist of Irish and English descent, born in New York State, United States. He graduated from North Shore High School in New York State and attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania, United States. He began presenting cinematic performances when he was a student at the university. His works include Clue (1985) and A Mighty Wind (2003).
