An American musician, actor, and singer, born on December 26, 1971 in Bossier City, Louisiana, to divorced parents. He studied painting at the University of the Arts (Philadelphia) and then studied acting at the School of Visual Arts in New York. His movie debut was How to Make an American Quilt (1995). His other credits include Suicide Squad (2016), Blade Runner 2049 (2017), The Little Things (2021), House of Gucci (2021), and Morbius (2022). Leto is also the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and songwriter for the American band Thirty Seconds to Mars.
