English actor, producer, and songwriter, born in the village of Pilton, County Durham in North East England. At the age of six, he began taking piano lessons. Among his works are Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1978), Rock Family Trees (1998), and Jack Unplugged (2018).
