An American of Syrian origin film director, writer, and producer, who lives in Hollywood. He immigrated to the United States sixteen years ago and studied directing in Michigan. Although he holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Aleppo, he has been passionate about art, literature, and acting since his childhood. His writing credits include 10 Things I Hate About You (1999), A Mighty Wind (2003), and Pretty Woman (1990).
