Canadian film actor, producer, and writer, born in London City, Canada. He attended Elmwood School, Ridley College in St. Catharines, and McGill University in Montreal, where he became a member of Kappa Alpha Sorority. He died on June 15, 2003, in Fairfield, Connecticut, United States, at the age of 92, due to prostate cancer. He is known for Cocoon (1985), *batteries not included (1987), and Brewster's Millions (1985).
