Canadian actress, born as Rose Marie Cardinal on July 20, 1950 in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. She received an honorary degree in 1993 from the University of Rochester. She was a jury member at the Sundance Film Festival in 1994. Her works include Dances with Wolves, Legends of the Fall, and Wind River.
