American actor, sculptor, and painter, born in Missouri, USA. He obtained a BA in theater and art from Southwest Missouri State College. He also earned a master's and doctorate in theater from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, in 1970. He is known for A League of Their Own (1992) and The Fan (1996).
