An Egyptian novelist and screenwriter, born on 2 May 1939 in Gharbia Governorate. She attended the Institute of Art Education. She published her first story in 1965 titled "I Wish He Knew the Truth". She wrote several TV specials including No Consolation for Relatives and Hoist with His Own Petard.
