Italian writer and assistant director, born on January 31, 1914, in Palermo, Sicily, Italy. Among his works are Trouble for the Legion (1953), The River Girl (1954), and The Blue Max (1966). He died on December 17, 2003, in Rome, Lazio, Italy.
