An American singer, musician, and actor, born on January 20, 1954, in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. He studied at St. Bridget of Erin and St. Nicholas elementary schools. During his studies at St. Nicholas, a teacher and an older cousin inspired him to pursue theater. After that, he graduated from Bishop DuBourg High School in 1973. Thereafter, he joined Fontbonne College in Clayton, Missouri, on a full scholarship, majoring in theater. He began his artistic career in 1975. He participated in various cinematic works and won the Theatre World Award in 1976.
