An American producer and writer, born in the United States. Block began working as a director of commercials, corporate films, and visual effects at Graphic Films Corporation in Hollywood, California. He is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Theater Direction. He also holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from UCLA's School of Cinematic Arts. His works include The Holiday (2006), What Women Want (2000), and Something's Gotta Give (2003).
