American actor born in New Jersey on 19 January 1918. His most notable works are The Trouble with Harry (1955), Topaz (1969), Dynasty (1981-1989), Scrooged (1988). He also lent his voice for the role of Charlie on the original series of Charlie's angels (1976) as well as the film Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003). He passed away on 1 April 2010 due to pneumonia-related complications.
