David Lowery is an American producer and director, born on December 26, 1980, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. He studied at Irving High School. He wrote and directed his debut short film, Lullaby (2000) when he was 19. Among his notable works are The Green Knight (2021), Pete's Dragon (2016), and A Ghost Story (2017). His 2013 movie Ain't Them Bodies Saints was nominated for a Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.
