An American actress, director and producer, born in New York, USA to a father of Italian origin and a mother of Scottish origin. She was the sister of writer and director Garry Marshall. Penny studied at a private girls' school in New York and then attended the University of New Mexico. She's known for Big, A League of Their Own, and Awakenings. She died on December 17, 2018.
