An American actor, born on January 11, 1934, in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was the President of the Screen Actors Guild and was a life member of the Actors Studio. Ryan married Lynda Morse in 1972, and they later divorced. His works include Lethal Weapon (1987), Liar Liar (1997) and Grosse Pointe Blank (1997). He died of heart failure in Los Angeles, California, on March 4, 2022.
