Kim Chan was a Chinese-American actor who was born on December 28, 1917 in Guangdong Province, China. In 1928, Chan immigrated with his family to USA, settling first in Rhode Island, then in New York. He debuted in 1951, after which his career spanned over 56 years, most notably the role of Uncle Penny in two unrelated films: Lethal Armson 4 (1998), and The Corruptor (1999). In 2008, he passed away in Brooklyn, New York City.
