A Japanese actor, singer, and songwriter, born in Tokyo, Japan. He won the Best Actor Award for the series Ryusei no Kizuna in 2008, and he also won the same award for the series Furîtâ, ie wo kau in 2010 from the Television Drama Academy. He is known for Letters from Iwo Jima (2006) and Gantz (2010).
