An American actor, born on November 15, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois. As a child, he wanted to become a cartoonist, but later he decided to become an actor. His first role was in the movie Peggy Sue Got Married (1968), after which he made nearly 30 films, most notably Gods and Monsters (1998), The Mummy (1999), Van Helsing (2004), and There Will Be Blood (2007).
