Canadian actress and singer, born in Winnipeg, Canada. Her family moved to New York, and in the early 1960s she graduated from Beverly Hills High School, and in 1968 she went to the University of California. She launched her career in 1977. She is known for The Wedding Planner (2001), Boogie Nights (1997), Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989), and The Rebound (2009).
