An American doctor, author, and former cardiac surgeon. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska, in the United States. In 1972, he graduated from Yale University and continued his postgraduate studies in medicine in Georgia until 1977. He is the author of some best-selling books, such as "The Plant Paradox: The Hidden Dangers in "Healthy" Foods That Cause Disease and Weight Gain."
