An American actress and political activist, born in Tennessee, United States, to a father who worked as a judge, and a mother who worked as a professor of English. Park graduated from Tusculum University in Tennessee, where she studied English. She participated in a number of works, such as Mississippi Burning (1988) and The Vanishing (1993).
