An American actress, born in Chicago, Illinois, United States. She began her artistic career on stage in 1950. She is known for The Swimmer (1968), True Confessions (1981), and The Eyes of Laura Mars (1978). She was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play.
