Ashlee Simpson is an American singer and actress. She was born on October 3, 1984, in Texas, and is the younger sister of the popular singer Jessica Simpson. She gained fame in mid-2004 through her reality show on MTV The Ashlee Simpson Show. She has also released 3 albums, including her successful debut album Autobiography, which topped the US Billboard 200 chart. Her notable works as an actress include Malcolm in the Middle (2001), The Hot Chick (2002), and Undiscovered (2005).
