A Kenyan actor, born in Nairobi in 1957, to Indian parents. He began his career in 1976, making his debut in the series The New Avengers, and also in the same year, he appeared in the movie The Pink Panther Strikes Again. His notable works include The NeverEnding Story (1984), Big Fish (2003), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), and Star Trek Beyond (2016).
