An Egyptian author, born on January 15, 1925. She received her education in English, French and Italian foreign institutes, then in a private women's institute. She was also taught the Arabic language from a home professor since she was seven. She began writing her first stories...Read more in 1942 and received the first prize for the story in 1947 from the Culture Department of the Egyptian Ministry of Education. Since 1948, she has edited and written novels, short stories and articles in Dar Al-Hilal magazines. During that period, for fifteen years, she summarized international books and plays for the monthly Al-Hilal magazine. Among her artworks are the movie The Adventures of Rasha, and the play We have won the Primo. She passed away on September 29, 2003.
