Throughout her career she appeared in supporting roles, which brought her fame, after signing on with Columbia. Margaret is the sister of actress Jane Gilbert. Among her most notable films: Dangerous (1935), Jezebel (1938), and Scarlet Street (1945). Margaret Lindsay received a star on the Walk of Fame in 1960 and died on May 9, 1981 in Los Angeles, California.
