An American actress, born July 10, 1946 in Iowa. She is known for playing the titular role in the movie Lolita. She began her career in 1959. She was chosen at the age of 14 to star in Stanley Kubrick's 1962 movie Lolita, for which she won a Golden Globe Award. After Lolita, Sue Lyon acted in about 20 films before retiring in 1980. She died on December 26, 2019, in California. Her other notable work includes The Night of the Iguana (1964), 7 Women (1966), and Tony Rome (1967).
