American actor and singer, born in Indiana, United States. He began performing theatrically at an early age, then began singing in his youth. His early career included performing with actor John Raitt at Los Angeles City College, in addition to radio work. He also worked at providing comedy, and during World War II, he was assigned to entertain the troops. He also participated in cinema and television. He died in Los Angeles, California, in the United States.
