An American actress, born on March 22, 1982 in Richmond, Virginia, United States. She is best known for the series Fresh Off the Boat. She was raised in Richmond, Virginia in a Taiwanese family. She graduated from Douglas Freeman High School, where she acted in local theater as a teen. She graduated from State University New York Theater Arts in 2005. She started her career in 2006 and became known for Stephanie Daley (2006), Watching TV with the Red Chinese (2012), Sound of My Voice (2011), Electric Slide (2014), Parallels (2015), and The Feels (2017), among others.
