German writer and director, born on 31 July 1982 in Erfurt, Germany to a German mother and Algerian father. She studied film directing at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg, her graduation project the film 24 Weeks (2016). She's known for Two Mothers (2013) and Copilot (2021).
