He is a French writer, actor, and director. He was born on August 30, 1958, in Saint-Quentin, France. His notable works include Delete History (2020), Aaltra (2004), and Louise-Michel (2008). Among his several awards and nominations, he shared a Golden Berlin Bear Award nomination for Best Film for Effacer l'historique (2020) and shared an Un Certain Regard - Special Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival for Le grand soir (2012).
