American actress and dancer born Tula Ellice Finklea in Amarillo, Texas on 8 March 1921. Some of her most notable works include Singin' in the Rain (1952), The Band Wagon (1953), and Brigadoon (1954). She died on 17 June 2008 due to a heart attack.
