Biography

A Syrian artist who grew up in a family steeped in artistic and literary traditions. His father is the novelist Hilal Al-Raheb, his uncle is the novelist Hani Al-Raheb, his sister is the director and actress Waha Al-Raheb, and his brother is the clothing designer Sahab Al-Raheb....Read more He created the decorations for theatrical, television, cinematic, and programmatic works, and he has exhibitions both inside and outside Syria. He designed the decorations and accessories for the "Inanna" theatrical dance group in the play "Saqr Quraish," which took place on stage at the Damascus International Fair. The Ministry of Information acquired several of his paintings, including Queen Semiramis. In 1992, his painting, Queen Zenobia, decorated the lobby of the People’s Assembly and remained there for more than ten years. He began his television appearances in the series Family House, and he designed the decorations and accessories for Dreamy Visions (2003).
