She is a Turkish writer, director, and producer. She was born in 1971 in Izmir, Turkey. She graduated from Dokuz Eylül University , Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Cinema, TV, and Photography. She is known for Çok Uzak Fazla Yakin (2016), Kin (2021), and Yeditepe Istanbul (2001–2002). She was married to Ozan Muharrem Güven in 2005 but got a divorce in 2010.
