An American actress, born in Boston, Massachusetts, on December 17, 1925. Julia Meade graduated from Yale School of Drama. She moved to New York City, where she worked as a model in 1948, then worked frequently in commercials in the early days of television in the 1950s, in addition to presenting series and programs, as well as appearing on Broadway, where she presented many plays. Her film debut was in Pillow Talk (1959), and her last film was Presumed Innocent (1990). She worked more extensively on television, appearing in commercials, programs and TV series, in addition to her theatrical activity. Her most notable work includes: Pillow Talk (1959), Playhouse 90 (1957-1958), and Ryan's Hope (1979). Julia Meade died at her home in Manhattan, New York, on May 16, 2016.
