A British actor, born on 23 April 1904 in Bromley, Kent, UK. He began acting as a child. He was also a singer and dancer. The peak of his success was in the 1920s and 1930s. He received his education at the London School of Choristers. He was a member of the International Ballet Company. He also had a long career at the Old Vic and the Open Air Theatre in Regent's Park. His works include The Avengers (1961), The Living Daylights (1987), and The Franchise Affair (1962). He died on 21 January 1999 in Surrey, England, UK.
