American actress Brooke Island was born in Illinois, on November 13, 1913 and died in Beverly Hills, California, on August 13, 1986. Helen Mack received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960 for her work in the film industry. Helen Mack is best known for her roles in: Blind Adventure (1933), The Son of Kong (1933), and His Girl Friday (1940). Helen Mack began appearing in films at the age of 10, and also stood on stage to perform vaudeville shows at the age of 13, but her cinematic career flourished only in the thirties, when she made her cinematic name by providing distinguished roles. In the forties, she had a great presence on the radio, as a producer and writer.
