American actor born in New York City, on 11 June 1914. He's known for Gilda (1946), The Sniper (1952), Foreign Intrigue (1954-1955), The Angry Red Planet (1959), and Funny Girl (1968). He has appeared in over 73 films in total. He died on 9 November 1968 of a heart attack, at age 54.
