She is a Northern Irish actress, born on April 14, 1939, in Larne, UK. In the early 1960s, she trained at Joan Littlewood's Arts Workshop in London. She performed on stage for many years all across the UK. She is known for Scully (1984), Shameless (2010–2012), and Emma (2009).
